Press del on the qwerty keyboard.
Doesnt work, its a read only account and the only way to get rid of it is by doing a master reset which will wipe that account off the phone.
To be honest, it has absolutely sweet FA to do with tmobile, its just an account that the phone sets up for you. I had this happen to me when i was using a WIFI hotspot in the docklands here in London UK.
When you scan for networks and select one to connect to, does it still ask you about creating an internet account for that network? Do you not get the opportunity to edit it at all?
As far as i know you cant edit it or remove it....just says default wifi account.
As far as i know it didnt ask me to create an internet account but then to be honest i didnt really pay much attention to what i was doing as i was having lunch with a colleague of mine. It connected to the hotspot no probs but i didnt bother accessing any info as it wanted to charge for usage and i couldnt be bothered to pay for it when i was only 5 mins away from my offices where i have a wifi network up and running and the p990i connects to that easily enough.

I think today I found two more bugs that were not mentioned here.
1) At Flip OFF mode or Flip Closed Mode , my P990 makes a second click'ish sound ( much lower in volume than normal click sound) right 0,5sec after pressing any buttons or touching the screen.
I have also noticed that, but I don't think it's a bug. It might be the soundchip switching off to save energy or something. But I would say it lowers the impression of overall quality.

Could someone please try to reproduce this? It shouldn't be that hard.
Thanks!

Another bug, which I haven't seen reported yet. Please forgive me if I have missed it and this is just a reposting of that bug.
Open the web browser in your P990 and change to landscape mode.
Enter a page where you have streaming video.
Here is an example:
* Open
http://mobil.svt.se (and make sure you switch to landscape view if you haven't done so already).
* At the top of the screen you will find a link saying "Mobil-TV". Click it.
* At the page you reach you will find another link (not at the top of the screen this time). That link says "Nyheter". Click it.
* And finally the last page. Look for "Rapport". Click it, and the media player should start.
Now the streaming video is played in landscape mode, but it's not filling up the entire screen.
Tap the screen as you would normally do to switch to fullscreen landscape mode. The screen will switch to fullscreen, but the video is rotated 90 degrees clockwise.
The phone usually reboots for me when I am trying to exit the mediaplayer from this condition.

I think you can't delete Default WIFI account. . . . Basically last successful WIFI connection
That wasn't the first time I'd used Wi-Fi and I don't remember seeing it before but you might well be right. I'll keep an eye on it and see what happens when I try other cafe connections.
Re the order of checking connections, I've created two additional Account Groups, one called Home, the other Office and set up there the order accounts are to be tried in. ie 1. Home WLAN, 2. GPRS, 3. Dial-up (I must admit that until I realised you could have a single account in multiple Groups I couldn't see the point of this).

Another bug with latest R7a firmware.
I bought the HBH-DS970 and I can receive calls just fine on it. However, if I turn off the headphones, the P990i doesn't seem to figure out that they're off and there's no sound on the phone when I initiate a call. All is fine if someone calls me however. Very strange.
I have to turn the phone on and off in order to get it to work properly.

I've just had the White Screen of Death (WSOD) going from FO to FC mode. I'd sent a text and as I was closing the flip the delivery report came up (phone vibrated also). Just as I closed the flip and this caused the WSOD

I have been a P-series user from the very beginning, starting with the P800. I tried an HTC Windows device but found it to be too large to cary around. I also disliked it's UI.
I got a P990 yesterday.
My main gripe with my p990 (Vodafone branded firmware) is that I cannot recieve pop email!! It just doesn't work. It's driving me up the wall.
I have tried over wifi, over GPRS, even , in desperation over WAP which shouldn't work.
I have come to expect problems with software in the first few months of release and can put up with the odd crash or with the radio switching itself off but for the email not to work.... come on. I admit i might be doing something wrong but come in, if the email client exhibits such a lack of transparency that a long time P series user and once computer consultant cannot use it something is wrong.
I can't believe this is happening to me, I put up with a cracked p900 screen for 4 mpnths while waiting for the p990 to finally be released, Vodafone upgrade me and I get the handset yesterday. And it doesn't work!! What is even more annoying is that Vodafone have locked off settings. I thing it a cardinal sin that operators spend time and money developing restrictive software for phones they don't understand which ends up causing everyone grief.
Umm so yeah, sorry about that. If anyone has any idea on what I can do, please help!

Tried that. Tried using settings from Voda Tech people for an internet account adding it to the "Internet" profile, added my wifi to the "Internet profile" obviously setting the email account to connect using the "Internet" profile.
As I said, I am a long time user of P series and not a new user. I am not sure whether to blame these problems on my old R5A006 firmware which is what I am limited to due to vodafone branding. Maybe there is a way for me to update this???
