I've heard mention available in April on SE Australia. Hope so, contract will be up and can order a new phone.

Any idea on which carriers are offering it max_wedge? I'm on Optus so hoping they'd be including it in their plans

that is true(better looking) but as a k800i owner the switch doesn't seem worth it

Hi Guys ...

By the way, Video Rec. is QCIF on the K810 & K818

Bummer Eh ...

No major upgrade compared to the K800 only just a new software in terms of PhotoFix ...

And a new Shell, heard the joystick is hard to use and the keys are utterly useless ...

Anyways you guys can be the judge of that one ...

Later Mates ...

Micks.

I saw in another thread that the K810i is already out in some countries. Where is it available and how much is it?

i've seen joystick problems on nearly every phone with the joystick design T6** k7** W800 and some with the K800i. maybe time to scrap that.

I never understood ths comment. My 3-year-old T616 and 1-year-old T637 had/have flawless joysticks that never failed.

OTOH, the D-Pad on my 6-month-old W810 is coming loose

Anyway, here's hoping for a K810a with either quad-band or N. American Tri-band + EDGE or our 850/1900 HSDPA-based 3G. I missed out on the K790a (still very expensive here, and not picked up by any of our carriers), so I can wait for this.

I seen an ad for this phone on eBay and I couldn't understand it.

Then I contacted Sony Ericsson via email and they confirmed that this handset has not yet been released but would become available this month (April).

I've had a couple of instances where I had a new SE phones in my hand and called SE and they told me it was not yet released and so I could not get support, so nothing new there I guess.

I think they are talk about it being released for the country they are supporting meaning Its possible for it to be available elsewhere

I have no idea if that is the case this time though
