You're not alone my friend.. What the hell good is a phone with all the bells & whistles if it doesn't even work properly?
The P990i was hammered by some for not being finished.
Now the N95, in which has been said the GPS was a last minute addition and wasn't tested properly, is so problematic its being returned back to the shops by the shedload!!!
Hows that for unfinished?
O2 are not even recommending it at the moment!!! Probably because they have run out of spare batteries to give to the hundreds of thousands of complaining customers
Sorry, but no-one can knock the P990i and M600i after this debacle!!! Its looks like the N95 is going to be a thorn in the side for a long time to come
Yes the boot will definitely be on the other foot now...muwhuwhuhahahahah

LMAO

@plankgatan
N93 has probably one of the most sturdiest constructions i've ever seen done on a phone, and dont even get me started on the K810. K800 had peeling keypad for god's sake!
Like i asked you before and you blatantly ignored me because you were speechless, tell me one phone thats got better screen than N80, better construction than N93, bigger non-touch screen than N95, any phone with WiFi g and not WiFi b which is pathetic to include in 2007's phones(P1), a more fashion oriented phone than 7390, a phone with VGA res video recording, a phone with Wifi and 4GB internal memory and 3.5mm jack(N91).
And by "other phones" i mean SE phones. Unless you've named each and every single phone that i ask and with substantial back-up, what you're doing here is just plain posting crap.

I think the only reason why SE are so populer is because of the first name: "SONY"

IMO this thread has served it's purpose with unsubstantiated fanboy rants from various quarters being the only recent contributions!!

usually such threads turn after out like "fanboy wars", like the poster below described it. i still think, that n95 ( even its has his backsides ) is the most advanced fone yet in the market and if the se freaks are important for se, they should release a more or almost same way developed fone.

dont talk rubbish. the "only" SE-phone with a seriuos joystick problem is the k750i. k800i have NOT that problem. (of course some phones got problems like all phones have), but the joystick on the k800i is moddified and much more stable. AND the k810 has even a newer joystick. if you read about k800 you se that is not so many problems with the joystick.
about failing joystick you should read about N73, its drops of for god sake on several phones.
ps. N93 must be the biggest phone ever made (fells like the first phone from the 80-). who in the hell want a phone who have that wieght and looks like a freak with a big lens on the top. (the only thing it can, is medium quality video recording).

many ppl gave it a try. before u buy a fone, u always know ( normal way ) what u get, so ppl know its big. p990 isnt that small either...

Yes Sony Bashing is common these days, fanboy rants are indeed prevalent in all quarters so thats neither here or there.
The title of the thread says is SE failing in producing good phones? The simple answer is No.
They are producing phones that sell, that the operators want and that make money for them. I'm sure by now if they weren't producing good phones we would know about it.

Maybe for the operators, but for the people posting that is not the case
