(for example, take a Leica camera with few megapixels, the pic quality is (very) often better then a camera with more megapixels. like i said, numbers of megapixels is not everything).

@plankgatan: Are you kidding me? I think you should go back and read a few posts in this thread and see what I posted in this subject.

In my last post I just stated that common people look at the xMP and thinks 5MP Vs. 5MP should be equally. And in reality you should be able to compare any 5MP phones.

Thats a very good point. There is a lot more functionality if different modes, and apps like Bestpic are included.

Regarding the N82. I find it a bit puzzling putting a groundbreaking 5mp camera module in a device that isn't camera focused

I suppose it goes back to the Eldar interview about strategy and pooling different features and aiming them at one market.

i dont think i've seen a single Nokia with a focus on camera 'only'. There was N93 but it has loads of other stuff aswell not to mention brilliant video. I dont think nokia makes phones that focus on one thing only, and thats a good thing.

S4k1s....eeehhh.

just because you showed us ONE test. dosent that mean it realy is so.
i can show you MANY pics from my own k800/k810 who is better then many N95 pics i seen.

i have seen very little N95 pics here on Esato. (why, i dont know, maybe the pic quality wasnt so good like many hope it was).

show us some live pics from your own N95, instead to show us some silly test.

And in what post did I say megapixels matter or even that the N95 is better than the K800?

Just because you show us some photos of your K800 without any comparable side-by-side N95 photo, it would be so (i.e. k800 better)? I find this amusing logic.

Nokia's range of music phones are clearly created to counteract Sony Ericsson's grip on the market with phones, which have been a runaway success. With the 3250 and the 5300 Express music they clearly focused on one thing, music.

Mind you, I think the Cyber-shot brand is probably more powerful than any other when it comes to imaging. It would have to be something really special for any company to rival Cyber-shot on a mobile.

thats where you're wrong, just because they say its 'express music' doesnt mean they left out something. 3250 is identical to N75 interms of what the phone is capable of doing. Same goes for 5700.
For SE they give W series a 2.4'' screen and K series a mere 2.2'' screen. K series get no WiFi or HSDPA and W series get it, where as in Nokia thats not the case.

Thats were you're wrong because The Sony Ericsson K850 Cyber-Shot is a tri-band HSDPA phone .

All I am saying is that Nokia branded some of their phones music phones so they intended these to be an alternative to and so they were focused on music, if not on the device then definitely on the branding, however, even the 3250 has dedicated music buttons.

I'm not accusing them of leaving anything out but XPressMusic by Nokia is a range of phones focussed on music.
