A little help please ????

Did you remove all temporary internet files and cache from IE before you triggered the Adobe Flash Player download?

In relation to the seus error "imcompatible version of flash player". I had this yesterday and fixed it as follows.

From a cmd (dos) prompt

cd %SYSTEMROOT%\system32\Macromed\Flash
dir *.ocx

You will see a number of OCX files, here is the output from mine
Directory of C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash

31/03/2006 11:45 1,443,464 Flash8b.ocx
09/11/2006 23:46 2,262,648 Flash9b.ocx
11/06/2007 16:14 2,267,368 Flash9d.ocx
04/06/1999 13:25 290,816 swflash.ocx

now you need to register the ocx files. In my case all I had to do was register Flash9d.ocx and SEUS worked. Type

regsvr32.exe Flash9d.ocx

If this does not work then try to register the others. But registering the last ocx file should solve your problem

Is it just me or does the highest resolution video recording have slightly better quality in this new firmware?

Hmm... Tried this after the whole uninstall/reinstall business (including clearing up all temp. files and cache in IE7)
I get a prompt, that the dll is registered, but still SEUS gives me the same error message as before.....
Should I uninstall/reinstall SEUS after the registration deal, reboot the pc, or am I missing something else ???

were you able to personalize your inbox name or default to your email address?

It default to my email address whereas it used to default to Blackberry. I dont think I was able to change it even prior to this release as im using BES rather than BIS. Thankfully my work email address is short and neat so it looks fine on the Today screen, I can imagine some peoples could be a bit long which could make the screen look cluttered.

That's because you've installed them on your memory stick.

The apps on your ms are still there while the required files on your drive c: are missing.

Yes, backup & restore can be more of a headache than convenience

I never use it.
