You can't really except a lot of bold, rich colors from an indoor shot of a workshop, can you? But where there are colors, I think these are fine. For example the colored flowers on the lamp shade. You will see this more clearly if you open the full size photo.

And while you're looking at the full photo, pay attention to the wall. Notice the absence of the salt sprinkle noise you have in C902 shots.

Firstly I really hope that C901 will be available in more countries. In spite of it isn't listed on SonyEricsson's official page in any french speaking coutry, but this phone at plenete-nokia has french language. So I hope it will be available in that countries where isn't listed on SonyEricsson's official page.

Secondly look these differences:

and look the softkeys:

the little button, and the lack of it on this side:

Seeing Virgile posted a gallery, I thought we'd better follow, so here's our gallery of the C901:

Close to fifty pictures of this little nifty handset. I apologize about the dust on the black one in particular. I forgot to dust it off

I'll try to remember that, but it's not my primary phone at the moment.

Another question, Mizzle:
Has the C901 image stabiliser? -I hope it has, would be strange if it wouldn't have, because as I've read the specifications it has video stabiliser.

".......(indoor is hardly any good test samples if you want to see its best colour reproduction)"

the black one looks very like c902 (great stuff ). i really hope it have the same solid casing.
