Nice mods there but I saw that the standby modding section is empty. I'm looking for removing the operator name from the standby screen on my W995. Any ideas?
EDIT: Okay so I've got A2Uploader 22/09/2009 which is able to display the file system but unfortunately it doesn't support file reading. So if anyone's got the 'no operator' layout XML for W995 (R1HA035) please post here.

Hi guys, great posts! I just bought the W995 a few weeks ago and still learning it. The one pain that I found with it is that there's less overall controls than the W550 I had before. My biggest issue is that the screen has auto shut off in about 20 seconds if the phone is not used. That makes using the GPS impossible!!
Does anyone have a MOD that will keep the screen active while the phone is open? Once you slide the phone back in, the auto shut off can resume.
Please let me know.

My phone's setup to automatically use mass storage but i need to create a backup using the PC Suite which needs the phone to be in phone mode. In case your wondering i ask because the screen on my phone isn't working any more so my phone's now a brick.

i've lost touch on w995 but if i'm not mistaken place it at "TPA/Preset/System/lighteffects/systemeffects" and please double check first.....
