Go ahead and buy your P900 from the States. It is available online, got mine from Cellularconcepts.com and was happy with their service. They even called me before they shipped the phone just to inform me the phone will be received in 3 days. It takes good pics but keep in mind it is not a camera, it only has camera features. You can watch movies on it which is good. And the stereo sound is just excellent. PDA functions are sufficient but applications related to reading some books are limited due to the limited availability of symbian written books.

Hi

I am new user of P800.
My P800 fell down from my hand and automatically Virtual Flip option is sat to on.
Can anybody tell me how should I set it off?

In manual its written go to control penal and set it to off. But there is no control panel with virtual flip on option.
Soonest Reply to channelsinfotech@rediffmail.com will be highly appreciated

Regards

Hi. I have a SonyEricsson P800 which I did not buy at a Cingular store. I also have GAIT phone and I am using the SIM from it to put in my p800 but not getting a singnal that is Cingular. I get a T-Mobile and AT&T singnal but very weak. If i take the SIM card out from the P800 and turn it on I can dial 000 for emegency number and talk to a 911 operator for this area but when I use the SIM I can't dial out at all to anything it just hangs the phone and I have to reboot it to stop it from trying to connect. Oh and I was in TN last week and got a good Cingular signal that was usable. Any suggestions? ...recently I purchased a New SIM from Cingular and they Activated it but I am still having the same issues with this new SIM. Please Help..thanks

.....I dont think there is anything wrong with the phone as it worked just fine in TN but mayby something diff about network in Ga? I don't know all this SIM stuff is not working in my P800 maybe Cingular really does have problems?

Update- when using the manual GSM network option I get signal from AT&T, T-Mobile but in auto it finds nothing. I have to set it back to manual then power phone down then back on for it to get signals....hmmm

Maybe I need to upgrade my phone?

Hi, please help!

I have been using the p900 today to record interviews for my dissertation.

1) Somehow i managed to lose a 50 minute recording..is there any recycle bin facility or anything liek that on the p900 - or has it gone for good?

2) is there any way i can transfer sound recording to my pc via the cradle? do i need a file manager to be able to see the file? - i know you can send it via bluettoth or infra red, but i dont have these facilities. im guessing a 33 minute sound recording might cost a lot via mms?

aah! stressed student! thanks, L xx
