Sony did 4K when the os didn't support it, maybe they found a way to implement 120hz into 4k too considering it's not 2160p.

There is no 4K 21:9 without crop.
Using 2160p, would be 5K already (which I would not mind).
Samsung and OP offer 21:9 recording. Both do 1644x3840

Ever since all these confusing rumors showed up, it looked like there was more than one device talked about. Maybe the pro will have higher res screen as some people said "true 4K" and larger diagonal. But if it's 1 and 5 together, it also makes sense. But this could mean a later release. I kinda wish they announced and released 1 and 5 together later in the year instead of killing off their hype with announcing soon and releasing months later.

I rather they use it if the snapdragon 888 really heats up so much and throttles much and consumes much battery .
