Hello Peeps!
I've just found this thread and now im kicking meself, I took it on me own head to buy a SE and after abit of searching i bought a T616 from a site in Canada which i paid import duty and then sent it back because it doesn't work in Donegal (wrong band) even though the salesman said " yes no probs will work and it will be fandabbydozey" lying *£$% anyhows sent it back and got a new T610 from Just talk in New york paid more import duty to UPS again and I thought i was up to date until i caught this thread and read it from beginning to end . Bugger! any way still waiting for the canada(ians) to credit my card and i cant get my T610 to fetch my emails from my vodafone address using their settings i get "Gprs parameters not supported" . Live and MMS does work though so do they have to check a flag for me at their side of the operations or will my t610 never accept e-mails. by the way no vodafone junk on my phone at all and sim free.

"gprs parameters not supported" ...did you get the settings sent from the SE site ? ...sometimes the DNS number is incorrect ...and sometimes it may be that your t610 needs it's software updating ...i have this problem with a t300 and have never been able to get gprs e-mail to work even with SW update ..i get GSM e-mail fine but nothing with GPRS. I had my T68i working fine then all of a sudden no GPRS ...i wonder if Vodafone have some way of rejecting none 'live' phones ???

have you rang the tech heads at Voda ? ...some of them can be very helpful and will go through all sortys of set ups ...yet some of them are a complete waste of time.

i'm away for a week or so but will check out what the settings should be and post them asap.

Hi Darkcloud, Sounds like a nice phone . I threw that amount into sky News's currency convertor and it spat out €292.53 not bad for new tech. does anyone know of any sites on the web where we can buy from the far east direct ?

Im going to try and flash my T610 myself now I've been looking around at other sites and i keep on seeing mentions of R6c005 have any of you heard about this and the "terminator Dongle" I have what i think is a t28 cable ( i got this so i could unlock an old t300 and it worked) so if you know do i have the right cable . By the way at the moment i have R4C003 but i hear that R6C005 has better screen contrast and quicker java and more java apps work .
