jamesward:

I suggest you bring it to SE cservice center for upgrade, no online update available at the moment.

@ jamesward
I usually get mine done in my local carphonewarehouse. I live in essex but some CPWs have service centers in them where you can get your phone updated, free!
just take your proof of purchase and you should be fine, providing they have a service center.

I went to a CPW Service Centre yesterday to get my K700i updated to the latest firmware. To which I was told "sorry we haven't got any newer firmware for that phone because it's so new. We only just got the firmware update for the T630!"

So in light of that fact - can someone tell me where my nearest SE service centre is? I live in Leicester, UK.

well in short and simple words..I think SE is wasting time..They really don't want to introduce Online Update Service for K 700i..the site they uploaded was for experimental purpose..I so damn! disappointed...Don't they have any Customer Relation Policy..SE are you listening..Customers are getting Pissed Offf...!

Upgrading firmware in the US involves paying to ship the phone away to the one service center and waiting 2 weeks for them to flash it and send it back. Having to do that for the bugs that never should have been in the phone in the first place sucks. Even having an update service is a bandage as it requires internet access with a windows PC.
