Quite frankly I do not know why you guys are so hopeful and excited about WhiteMagic. Even though it is a good technology by Sony, it's nothing special. Xperia P doesn't have astounding battery life, it has severe color reproduction issues at higher brightness levels, poorer blacks compared to S, Sola and U as well and hence slightly lower contrast.
So although WhiteMagic is decent, it is not a "game changer" or "deal breaker". WhiteMagic needs to be refined a lot more before it can be truly "missed" IMO.
The only two positive points are better viewing angles and better sunlight legibility. The former is already solved in Yuga thanks to Neo IPS panel, and the latter isn't bad either on Yuga.
Mobile Bravia Engine 2 is what will set apart the Yuga screen, and even if Yuga had a Whitemagic display it would still have been MBE 2 that would have set it apart and not whitemagic.

The difference is the daylight visibility and that is a game changer. With regards to the Mobile Bravia Engine 2, as far as I know that is just software optimization that is available in certain apps when viewing pictures or videos like a Photoshop filter (correct me if I'm wrong). It's not a system-wide implementation that improves the visibility and quality of the screen overall. It also has the problem of using up more of the battery because it uses more processing power when it's turned on.
The difference with the WhiteMagic screen is that it's hardware, built in to the screen to provide much brighter screen in daylight with the help of additional white LED. I don't think the MBE2 is a good substitute for it at all, when in fact they have different purposes.
Nevertheless, you're right, the Yuga/Odin screen will still be amazing without WhiteMagic. I just felt that with it, it would've received rave reviews from the likes of The Verge and Engadget who loved the Xperia P WhiteMagic screen and rated it one of the best screens on the market (due to its visibility in daylight)

My new hope: Odin, which will release later than Yuga (possibly late March/April) in North American and a few other markets
I have heard this: Odin in March, Yuga in May (at least in Europe)

Here is the thing i picked up from the lucky Vietnamese Xperia T user....
The device runs much faster and the battery life is improve a lot, i mean A LOT
He said that it only consumed 6% of the battery from 8:15 AM to 7:00 PM O.o (not sure is it in stand by mode or what)
and also he did not mention what did he do during that time like browsing internet, music etc
The sound quality is still the same....
The Xperia T that he is using is the LT30 at (AT-T) Version, he just received the OTA update this morning

Is there a massive difference between the original MBE and the MBE2 or is it just a new name for the same tech with no visible difference to us or is it the so called "Game Changer" that people have talked about I out an Xperia T and have had the Xperia S and Arc aswell all of which use the original MBE which does make a difference but haven't see the Xperia V which has the MBE2 to see if there is any difference at all when viewing the same content side by side I really do hope is makes a difference as I want the Odin/Yuga which ever is the one to come to Europe.
