update on the upgrade:
hay you seen the "torn envelope" beside an sms in your inbox? according to the manual, it is a "damaged message" pp89. ferrarista sent me an sms, the first one arrived no problem with sms id. then an identical sms arrived, same content, but damaged and only shows the number. could this be jwblue's "problem?" i think this is caused by a misfire from either smart or globe's smsc.

@JW: anyway re the caller id thing, mine is like that too... when the text arrives it just shows the number but the longer it is on my inbox, my phone gets to recoginize it na. Doesn't happen that often naman. Mga twice or thrice
