Gee, it's been a while since we've had Tagalog in this thread, hey..?
Yeah, my broken Tagalog is sufficient for situations like this morning when the taxi driver tried to rip me a new one...I politely told him jump in Laguna de Bay/

Just go back from writing my very last Physics exam

and its the 1st time that i actualy learn something new in an exam! Question2 in the exam was about Waves, Sound and Light and in it they had an example of how Cameras use Sound waves, im going to quote it:
The Physics of an Auto-Focusing Camera:
"Some cameras/camera phones have a mechanism that automatically focuses the camera with the aid of sound waves.
When you push the auto-focus button on the camera, it sends out a pulse of ultrasonic sound that travels to the object being photographed. Like an echo, the pulse reflects off the subject and returns to the camera.
By measuring the time it takes to make the round-trip, and using 340m.s(-1) for speed of sound, the camera calculates the distance to the object and sets the lens to its proper focus." and thats how your Camera and Cameraphones Auto-Focus, thats the random fact for the day

Thanx boet

@ gucci, and then they asked you what was the distance of the object from the cam? Hehe its interesting man, the focusing can also take place when the lense moves forward and backwards so that it casts a bright image, hehe thats with light! You can hear this focusing with se phones or i did with k810 and w810... Thats what we learned in physics thus far bout it, will probably learm bout the soumd next year

Just a little moan, been trying for forever to get internet at my apartment here in Manila. If you thought Telkom was bad wait until you get here. Anyway I got hooked up, kinda. Got tipped off here on Esato about a way of getting free internet by using Opera 2.06 on the Globe network. Managed to get it working, so far so good- I'm posting from my phone, the first time in about six months.
