Talking about Pythons, just some random info, pythons are able to open their jaws roughly 180 degrees... Anyways, back on topic, still no sign of the c905 in SA...

If I had a pet python I'd have to call it Monty...

In the mid-90's I used to actually be a member of the East London Herpetological Club, i.e. reptiles.
I had an olive house snake in a glass tank in the class.

Yeah, and in absolute contrast, a few years before that, when I was in the army, some of the guys in my platoon caught a cape cobra in an empty mortar ammunition box, and when it threatened to strike, one of the okes in the section put a R-4 bullet through its hood, destroying about a third of the thing in the process. Not to waste the moment, and being bored in the bush on the weekend, we braaied it in a trench later that night... and yes, it tasted like chicken!
Not much meat though, had to scrape it off those ribs.

Before I get crucified for any involvement in such a dastardly deed, I hereby declare that I had no part in the capture or execution of said-reptile (I was on patrol around the temporary campsite) , only joining the small merry throng of sampling such an odd dessert...

Sigh, memories..

Miriam Makeba's service was also on the news here in the UK:

Damn it, first the X1 thread had to be locked yesterday until the mod/s could sort out the quarrelling that got personal and to delete some other rather offensive stuff, now the C905 pic thread has had to be locked because of some unbelievable behaviour... (you can guess who's involved with the latter one...)

Can't believe how a discussion/debate about cellphone pics and cellphone abilities spirals (yet again) to such personal/offensive levels. Some people need to get out more; I think that's the mildest I can put it.

One of the reasons I hardly venture beyond the regional threads anymore- too much bickering amongst the fanboys and the haters.

Gola
You're too patient bro so you definetly goin for C905? Looks like its quite good, havent heard many complaints about it. If its anything like a K850 with R1F firmware then go for it! For the past 2weeks my N81 has been mainly sitting in its box or working as a 3G modem, K850 has been running so well! Hobbs im still not over moding it!
but took out the N81 today to get some YouTube vids this morning and now im using the N81 again

Good to see da brixsta in these parts more frequently over the past few days.

@ gola:
Ya Carphone Warehouse here are actually stocking all 3 colours. I really like this handset in the Copper Gold colour.

It's priced the same as the 8mp LG Renoir, which are both £100 more than the G900. Still no sign of the 5800 though...

As I explained in one of my previous posts I managed download the hacked version of Opera Mini that allows me to surf for free on the Globe network. Otherwise I've been restricted to internet access at work and I've been waiting for an eternity for Smart Broadband to hook my apartment up with a wireless connection(similiar to Sentech's MyWireless). The mobile internet is relatively expensive in the Philippines compared to the much-maligned R2/meg plan from SA networks. Here pricing goes according to your time spent online...not downloaded data:( I've also noticed that 3G coverage is patchy at best in Metro Manila.
