also in standby mode, when the cursor is highlighted on walkman, which da walkman controls will light up...do the same thing as above it also go beep...beep. but when the cursor is highlighted on nothing, or menu or shortcut, my ringtone works... is this a glitch or is juz my fone have dis problem??
When i'm listening to music i rather hear the "beep beep" i my ear then the ringtone, so i don't se it as a problem, i like it.

i was once lookin at some1 n wondering who didnt pick up their fone when my fone was beping instead of my ringtone....

whenever i turn my phone on and it has a voicemail saved on, or whenever i have a call or sms, it plays the whole ringtone even though i press back button or c, is this normal? it even happens in public and i just look at my phone, and can't do anythin about it!

Still can't reconcile the following:
1. Quirky UIQ interface
2. Very slooooow launching of anything
3. Various text input issues such as: getting some sign or symbol when you want to put a space, slow handwriting recognition, slow transition from one letter to another in the same key.
4. Screen buttons too small - need to use stylus
5. No D-pad
6. Too few 3rd party applications
Needless to say, I'm back with Palm. Hopefully, I can get a good deal. If not, I guess I have one hell of a fancy mp3 player.
