too bad they didnt fix it for java and read and write permitions. need an option ask once rather then no and always ask only. it would greatly improove functionality of the bookreaders.

Thanks for this great forum that helps everyone communicate his problems and success stories through.
I've tried a few times to Flash my K750i device. Everything works fine until I get upto around 42% I get an error message saying "Error in communication with the device." and then it asks me to take off the battery and restart the phone and I cant seem to pass this? Anyone with a solution to my problem?

Yes that was an advantage. As its really annoying having to accept files the whole time.
I have flashed back to R1L CDA102338/38 however as I couldnt really see too many other advantages in R1N + PlayNow icon just annoys me. If there was away of flashing to R1N but keeping the Wap Page icon instead of PlayNow I would do it again.

now i think Play Now is added during finalization nut it could be fs was edited too. not sure and cant check cause files encripted hehe.
if done during finalization nt even sure if playnow info is part of the client or it gets dloaded from gsmen server.
if part of the program you could use older client and just do a cda change and not a reflash.
if you still willing to upgrade again and you said it has been reflashed to r1l and you dont have playnow anymore and if your cda is upgraedable
seus will not add it.

Mmh thats a thought. My CDA at the moment is CDA102338/38 R6A which I reflashed using DaVinci Client 13.3 (I believe) thanks to fiction.
So you think if I try and update again using SEUS it wont add the PlayNow icon. Does it just update firmware and not mess with the CDA?

I've come across something rather worrying with the new firmware. 1 video file and 3 pictures have become corrupted and non viewable. These are pics/videos that were taken WITH the new firmware, were working fine and then have just died with normal phone useage.
I have not had this problem at all before the firmware update.
I have also tested another Memory Stick and can generate the same results.
Can anybody else confirm this problem, or is it just me?

I tried to update my phone for 2 days to R1N035 as suggested by this forum. It didn't work for one reason or another.
Then today, I managed to flash my phone at work, but I only received R1L002.
I was very annoyed to mess about for 2 days only to receive the same firmware as I already had, so I called SEUS.
They advised me that R1N035 was online only for a short period and they pulled it because it didn't work very well. I was told that a replacement firmware will be online soon.
Has anyone tried updating from SEUS since this post?

seus never messes with the cda lol, we do that!!!
seus flashes main and hardly messes with the fs file which is where playnow menu icon is added or not.
thats what i think!
on the other note:
i think the bitrate/encoding varies based on the lighting condition and activity of the screen

No, framerate and bitrate is variable, it varies depending on what is recorded and under which conditions it was recorded.
Try making another recording in good lighting with moving objects in it, and compare bitrate and fps to that. Remember to select high quality mode instead of mms mode or bitrate will be limited.
