Yep, it was quite pleasant reading that article, Wanqa, they've had their fair share of political problems lately in Oudtshoorn, and then some.

I see the Springboks won the sevens final against England with a spectacular drop goal reminiscent of RWC '95. Looks like you guys have a great team this year while we may be up against it to continue our winning ways. Kenya very nearly knocked us out in the quarters.

@ carkitter:
Yeah we just don't know how much longer they'll be known as the Springboks, due to all the political shenanigans...

BTW, another grand slam secured by the AB's in emphatic fashion. That's a very impressive backline that EnZed have in the current team.

From a popularity point, maybe, but from a buying point of view it'll have to drop a helluva lot in price to make it that accessible to so many potential buyers.
Touchscreen phones have really wooed punters over the past year or so; look at the iPhone, G-Phone, Tocco/F480, Omnia, Viewty, Cookie, the success of HTC etc etc. ( 's current touchscreen offerings haven't had the same impact, which I think is fair to say..?) Even budget phone manufacturer 'Fly', who make some phones for some networks, have recently released an el cheapo touchscreen slider as well.

The 5800's current hype, at this initial launch stage anyway, will keep those higher end prices up for now mehtinks. I hope it does become that popular though; it can only encourage better deals and trigger more demand and developments for further applications too.

I WAS USING A 5800XM JUST AN HOUR AGO! my friend with the N95-8gb brought it to church today (yes i go to church . . . .once in a while). Will post pic of it later when im at home, dont expect high quality, was taken in a rush with my N81 lol. All i can say is its an awesome phone, like i had said earlier he is related to a Nokia employee so once in a while i get to play with the phone before it gets here like i did with N82 and N95-8gb.

Lol Wanqa, yep!
Phew.. what a day, me and two of my close friends had to get up at 6am after a very late night, got to my friends house at like 2am from rubyblue. So only got 4hours of sleep, had to go help with the services at church which we regert volunteering for lol anyway it was all worth it my other freind got there with the red 5800XM in his hand, got to use it for about 30mins, it is such a nice phone to hold, a lot more palm friendlier lol than my N81 and the N82. The menus are qiuck and it responds well to finger touch but not as well as it does when using that "guitar pick" thing it comes with which was awesome to use!! Its a true "teen phone" its all shiny and flashy, the screen is so big and so smooth due to its 360x640 res , and the build quality is top notch, it felt like i could drop it and not worry about, i want it soooo bad now!! lucky prick he may get a E71 though and give back the 5800.
Here are some picks of it, like i said, bad quality my lense was still dirty from last night..ewww.

LOl and Huston we have lift off :

LOL, Gucci. That friend of yours sure seems to be enjoying his b'day pressie Mini Cooper S.

That place looks kinda like the Eagle Canyon Golf Estate in Randburg.

Dang, I'm really looking forward to fiddling with a 5800 again.
