What makes you think the N80 won't handle that many contacts ? I have about 350 contacts so far and no problems what so ever. (althou most are email addresses) I will buy the P990i tomorrow if it will be as stable as the N80 (and available) Unfortunately neither nor :( Greetings from South Africa. Mario

I agree with you. This is the end for the P990 now. I'm getting a K800 to replace my W810, but what about a P990 replacement (if that makes sense considering it isnt even out! lol). Oh well, unlucky

I'm confused as the SE UK Eshop has put an August launch date for the P990i but there is not yet an official word that it will be delayed to Q3 from Sony Ericsson press room.

Maybe Sony Ericsson will announce it in tomorrow's dog and pony exhibition at the CommunicAsia 2006, Singapore.
I cannot believe that we have to see more photos and videos in the next dog and pony exhibition between now and August. Please, no more photos of the P990i in your hands at the CommunicAsia exhibition.
A few weeks ago we were all excited because of a P990i box.

same store has July release for M600...has you know, there are already several esato member´s with M600´s, so what do you make of it???
wario, i simply remembered you the n93 can´t be compared with the P990 right from the start, because it doesn´t have a touch screen, and for me, like many, a smartphone isn´t complete without it

- m600 doesn't have camera
- m600 lacks WiFi
These are the only 2 things I found. Am I missing anything else? Seem to be the same platforms minus the 2 attributes, correct? Thx!

Att Sony Ericssons P990 inte skulle börja levereras under andra kvartalet har länge varit uppenbart trots Sony Ericssons påståenden om motsatsen. Nu har man dock även meddelat återförsäljarna om förseningen.
En välplacerad källa i branschen uppger för mobil.se att Sony Ericsson meddelat återförsäljare att vecka 28 eller vecka 29 är den tidpunkt då de kan vänta sig de första leveranserna av P990. Det betyder att den kommer börja säljas någon gång i mitten av juli.
Troligen blir det bara små volymer som levereras de första veckorna. Enligt källan är det först under augusti som man kan vänta sig större leveranser som kan möta den stora efterfrågan som finns på P990.
Sony Ericssons officiella hållning är dock fortfarande att P990 kommer att börja levereras under juni.
- Den kommer att komma andra kvartalet, säger Per Alksten på Sony Ericsson.

That Sony Ericsson's P990 willed not begin to be delivered during other quarter has long been clear despite Sony Ericsson's assertions about the contrast. Now, one has however also the announced dealers about the delay.
