the speaker is clearer than that of the k750i/w800, though when the k750 equaliser is up its much louder, but again its not as clear as k800i....
and the headphone volume really needs to be louder....

hey ppl..

thx 4 discussing the audio output...as everyones saying the speaker is quite bearable but for a user like me who loves listening to music on his phone the sound through headphones is really low and very bad...i wonder why the hpm 70 which worked really well with 550i dont even give around half the output on this thing...has anyone tried any other headphone on this thing which gives good sound please let know...
finally could we hope that se would give a new firmware where increase in output>???

@M100
Taken from the Warrenty booklet:
GEOGRAPHICAL SCOPE OF THE WARRANTY
If you have purchased your Product in a country member of the
European Economic Area (EEA) or in Switzerland or the Republic
of Turkey, and such Product was intended for sale in the EEA
or in Switzerland or in Turkey, you can have your Product serviced
in any EEA country or in Switzerland or in Turkey, under the warranty
conditions prevailing in the country in which you require servicing
of the Product, provided that an identical Product is sold in such
country by an authorised Sony Ericsson distributor.

for those people who actually bought or used the phone, what would you say about its size and weight compared to K750i?

are they so much more that they become a problem or is the K800/790 slightly bigger and heavier than the K750/W800?

aydahm, The K800 is about 15g heavier than the K750, which is about 15%. It is slightly longer, a tiny amount wider and other than the lens bulge is about the same thickness. It does feel more substantial but it is weighted well.

A problem I have found is that the keypad is too low and keys too cramped to be comfortable, unlike the K750 where they are better proportioned.

When you look at the phone face on, it looks like it will be a lot slimmer than it is, which is okay I guess. If you cope fine with the K750, you will be fine with the K800 once you get used to it. If the K750 is already on the heavy.big side for you then maybe you should try it yourself.

All in all, the K800 is slightly bigger, however, like said above it feels more substantial, the added weight doesn't weigh you down, but to me makes me think that the phone is solid, the extra length is only a couple of millimetres and so hardly noticable after a while. Basically, I've found it quite a comfortable phone to use.

Cheers
