orang3, dairin and GHT,
Just got a reply frome SE.
1. They have took our feedback to their management and promise to look into this matter again. However, they could not promise us it will be like the T66 mesage alert tones.
2. According to them they have already known the calculation error. They have already send in to their R & D for rectification. Any update they will inform us.
3. This is a good news to all of us. All upgrading on this alert tones sw will not be charged even though the warranty is over. However they do tentatively agree all upgrading sw should not be charge even after the warranty period had expired. But pls don't throw away your expired warranty card should they need to verify it.
Should they be any new sw released, SE will inform us. soonest.
SE wants to thank us for our valuable feedback.

I am so disappointed with the new R5A s/w... The message alert tone did not improve much..really sucks! Although the servicing is free, but it is the time wasted that put me off... everytime go to the Goldhill SE must surely wasted at least 1 hrs... plus driving to and fro....sigh...
The only consolation is tht they repair my dim keypad lightings....
Anyway, please keep me posted too when there are new s/w upgrade...but this time i make sure it really solve something before rushing down to upgrade.... thanks....
