dunno, mate :confused: mine was working fine on my lappy & phones.....the one you gave me allows me to do file transfer both ways...but gives me a connection failed errror when i try to establish the DUN connection.....but to be honest...i have'nt had the time to tinker around with it...i hope to do that this weekend....and have a solution

Sorry, I didnt do much search. Can u spoon feed -how to check Gmail on P9 (normal or POP3 or whatever) AT YOUR CONVI.?
I still think -FOR ME-using the S7 is faster for wapping. As am used to 'fingering'
PLUS, WHERE THE **** DO I CHANGE THE SETTINGS ON P9 FROM 'WAP' TO 'HTTP'.. (Can d/load even 5MB files on S7 directly)

Download and install an app called Profimail...enter gmail settings....and you should be able to access gmail without any issues.....alternatively you can access it through

On the pxxx...you need to have a wap account AND an internet account....so you need to get settings for both through sms from your provider and install them OR enter both manually if you already know them.
You need to go to Applications>Tools>Control panel>Connections Tab> Internet accounts for setting up the HTTP access OR Wap accounts for setting up wap access

Am not sure but I might get the Orange Access activated soon. Had tried it during past two three days, but they cautioned be against it themselves.. for time being.
Besides, shifting frm Win98 SE(Second Edition) to whatever the
software supports would be a big decision. I have spent ages on this one, despite having WinXP Pro CD since a fortnight after its launch. I just cannt use any other MS Operating System for more than a week, end up switching back.
