Only prob is that Clios at that price seem to be mega high mileage, although having said that there is one on Autotrader for £995 with under 40K on the clock.
I hate Citroens. So do most people. That's why the residual value is low! If you don't care about appearance (e.g. dents) too much then I still think it would be a good first timer.
