Jmash PM'd to say he received his package from Wanqa Claus.

If the others haven't arrived by now, it seems unlikely...
5 out of 8, SA postal services. (possibly 6 if mario2004 got his).

Swak is as mild as I can put it.

@ Hobbster:
Downloaded The Cure's new album from the usual site. Giving it a listen at the mo. Inimitable Robert Smith and unmistakingly 'The Cure' style.

Thanks, gola.

I'm off to the International Motorcycle Show in Birmingham tomorrow, so I'll be making sure that this thread is ticking over with cellphone pics over the next few days, LOL.

WRT the new Cure album, it's called '4:13 Dream' and was launched just over a month ago.

The first song, Underneath The Stars, is a wonderfully dreamy number that reminds me of Plainsong, off the Disintegration album, or Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me, the rest sound like more recent-sounding Cure numbers; less atmospheric but still with the unmistakable Cure guitar work, Smith vocal deliveries etc.

What albums those were. The weathered ol' toppie on the B&W cover on Staring at The Sea, the artwork on Wish, which used to make me think of high school Biology etc, LOL. So many memories of my student days while studying in PE. Timeless songs like Primary, Lovecats, The Caterpillar, Boys Don't Cry, and of course Close To Me. And so the list goes on. Also bought the remix album called Mixed Up back then too. Sigh, memories...
