I agree with you. However, how many Apple fans do you know of speak sense in their choice of Apple compared to say Samsung, Sony, HTC etc?
And in second place, Samsung fans, due to Samsung's popularity, have fans who don't even know why the SGS3 is a good phone.
Proportionally, Sony, HTC, Motorola and others have less stupid fanboys (the ones that are just blinded by the brand) than Samsung, who has less stupid fanboys than Apple.

This is because they aren't as popular.
Ultra-popular things, attract douchebags, who are naturally louder and more visible than the sensible fans. This means all you see and hear are fanboys who trumpet their device as being the next best thing since Jesus-on-toast, creating a skewed perception of the proportion of fanboys to regular fans.

More interesting is that Sony Mobile's sale improved after divorcing Ericsson.

Agree, to people on here when Samsung/Apple do something, it's stupid because it's them. When Sony goes and does the samething, it's ok. Fanboys are annoyin no matter what brand they're for.
But this time I finally agree with Medair, once this update is out it will officially turn my phone into the Samsung Acro S. What a fckin disappointment.
