How are you?

Vodafone does it again.
MSN and Vodafone launch PC-to-mobile instant messaging. The new service will be offered in various European Countries by the end of 2005 and Spain will be one of the lead countries to launch. Service to offer real-time, seamless instant messaging conversations between PC and mobile customers, as well as the possibility to see the availability of all participants on the contact list.

@slssls: "I'm fine, thank you"

It's good that they announce the MSN link-up because like 3G which was supposed to be flawless I fear that this is just all hype and those Spaniards using the service might be slightly disappointed.

Pity the Vodafone Live portal is awesome but the 3G connection is dire at the best times.

BTW Sendo has been bought by Motorola...pity these phones never reached our shores.

@ brix,
I posted the info about Sendo being bought by Motorola three days ago, if you look under the 'other manufacturers' forum.
That was even before axxxr's news article about this...something that doesn't happen too often!

Looking forward to being back in the motherland for a holiday next month.
Bringing a few phones for friends and family again, namely a 3230, 6101 and the very-pink j300i for my niece. Hopefully the D600 will be out soon too. The Carl Zeiss lens-equipped N90 is expected to arrive at the carphonewarhouse in the latter part of July.
Saw the Vodafone-branded v600i for the first time today, at Phones4u. A pity about the branding, because the 2-tone anthracite/silver handset looks so damn good, IMO.

@amawanqa: If you look around this thread the Wireless Monkey posted a picture of myself with the K600 a couple of weeks ago...nice phone, pity the keypads which feels as if they're part of the phones body.

@ brix,
Indeed I have been looking around this thread, on a daily basis, and did notice the pics of you and the Primate Pressman etc. taken with the k600i.
Hell, try face the phone's camera more next time..LOL.

I'm impressed with what WM gets his grubby mits on.
He certainly seems to have some good (er..."better?") connections... Good on him.
