you can check it in following ways. .
1. download a java game from a wap site and when it asks if you wanna start , say yes. if the game runs without exiting ur wap browser, then it is multichanneled.
2. if ur streaming player works without exitin ur wap browser.

I gave my number to blu. He & Me called together to cc and now live is activated and I'm using MO without any problems.
Tomcat is a web server which can run Java servlets(JSP). As Airtel mainly uses JSP in their website, they have installed that software in many servers.

Pal, I dont see any significant speed difference though , maybe coz I always get decent speed constantly. But I assume the speed gotta be better now as the hostnames are resolved directly and not via proxy...

I am afraid it aint possible that way dude. As far i know only a few earlier models of se such as the T series are single channeled. All the recent models including the basic ones like j300i are multichanneled.

hey guys i have found that i had another problem that is i cant chat anywhere because pages with java applet dont loads for me when using the trick. when i have connected to net through this trick when i tried to open chatting sites like sallapom.com , indiatimes.com the chat applet didnt loaded. but when i connected using my bsnl connection it got connected and i can chat. in the same way my yahoo mesenger works in all cases until the chat room loads please help me guys

This proxy server is a grave problem. This makes the data to first route from a airtel server and then to the destination server. So despite of getting great speeds yahoo won't work perfectly because there isn't a real-time connection.
