If Sony presents the 4k device now
Then what about ifa

MWC is far more important, if they dont present something out standing when everyone is bring out their big guns, then they just are just another one added to the pile. Beside compact offering high end specs in a small body, everything else has been done before by others and they are just late to the party. World first 4k OLED hdr screen is better selling point than everything leaked so far. Another 5.5"+ 18:9 screen 2k phone is last year story and it offer specs no better than the competitors I don't see why anyone that is not a sony fan will even give it a look unless their goal is only targetting the forever shrinking sony fanbase. Leaked specs is already a let down with the lack of headphone jack and if the retail device is anyway similar to the leaked hunchback design. I can see even long time sony fans will bail. Just ulgy as shit no matter how ppl spin it. Design language looks like crap from early 2000.

Everyone knows Sony does not care about QHD.
One device in years.
They even chose to go straight to 4K.
If the XZ2 is not the new premium, it has FHD+.
I doubt it has QHD+.

Except Huawei and HTC, all other put their biggest batteries inside midranges.
Flagships bring more profit.
If XZ2 is FHD+, I would not be surprised to see same battery of XZP.
Or even the same 2900 of XZs.
I really wish they use the same inside the Ultra, but I dont think they will.

Something else : many tech sites and twitter.. Tons of ppl chatting about Xperia Arc style, LG G Flex style and acoustic surface. Someone even said that if the phone has 4K Oled Acoustic Surface it will break internet..

About 2.87 and 3.18: H82 = 78% , H83 = 81% ? 🤔
The H83 probably has 8MP on front, easier to fit inside smaller bezel.

I'm probably the only one who expects more a design change in the user interface than a new physical design

I can only say that the teaser is most likely the new Xperia Live Wallpaper

I like to share a few things I read from a Vietnamese site. All credit goes to that site for the info. But I'll not link the site because I know shitty nodar will use the site info and claim his insider gave him the info. So I apologize to the owner of the site. I hope you will understand.

Design: Yes, Design will go through a complete overhaul. The new design will resembles the Xperia ZL2 with curved back and rounded corner but of course with improved STB ratio, material uses. Sony will start using glossy material for the back again.

3.5mm jack will be gone: But they will retain the dual speaker and introduce a new sound tech.

Camera: There will be single camera for both flagship phones, dual camera flagship may appear at IFA. The position of the camera will be at the center of the back of the phone. Super Slow-motion will be upgraded to Full HD at 960fps and front camera will be able to do 3D scan.

Logo placement: They will place the Xperia logo at the bottom part of the phone like xperia P. They will probably remove the Sony logo at the top of the phone.

Other things: 6 GB ram, 128 GB internal storage flagship phone will appear at IFA. Battery life will be even better and resolution will be higher.

I guess they are reserving/starting the dual camera setup for Premium/Pro devices and next gen xz3

I am curious what the new CEOs view on the mobile division is. Kaz has stated he pretty much just wanted to keep Sony in the field. I wonder if the new CEO will stay the course for that or if he'll switch it up.

Actually new CEO is the one who use the "High benefit - low investment" strategy
