The Xperia Z still looks awesome, too bad for the poor batch of screens in the review units , they definitely did not help Sony. But the one that phonedog.com reviewer got looks awesome : http://www.phonedog.com/videos/sony-xperia-z-video-review-part-1/ .... though still has problems with the viewing angles .

I still love the Xperia Z design , but I think I`m going to wait for the launch of the new Galaxy S4 and make a decision afterwards.

As much as I hate the Verge for being biased against anything that isn't Apple, the review is actually pretty fair and points out the two biggest issues with this phone for me; the shape (ergonomics) and the camera.

It's also interesting when it mentions that for a top spec processor it isn't as smooth or buttery as other high end phones like the GS3. Bono also mentioned that he didn't find it any quicker than the T.

Almost Sony, almost.

Having had the T I definately didn't fell any differnce after 20 minutes of play. And the screen just didn't leap out at me like other 1080p screens have. It simply didn't look any more vibrant than the T

The camera is very good and superior auto messes pics up at times.

Thanks a lot guys

LOL @ it's not as quicker as T. It's very fluid. There's minute lags here and there but it's very much fluid.

I want to know where's the socialapp? where all facebook/twitter/messages feeds come. And how come I don't get the option to transfer apps to SD?

Should be in the app draw I think (or is it a widget, not sure) ??? Note however, that it seems to be a bug where the app claims to be incompatible with your device. This is an issue Sony is aware of and are investigating as we speak.

Will upload Camera Samples tomorrow.

No there's no socialapp in the widget or app draw. What about the Apps to SD? It was there in IceCream Sandwich.

What!? a part of me isn't suprised, but another is rather confused, this is a smartphone with 2GB RAM and a CPU based on a whole new platform clocked at 1.5GHz, if this was 2010 I would have said maybe the High res display is to blame, but with SoCs and Android itself having advanced as they are and how I've been told that Sony know how to optimize their SW you'd think they would at least get it to run a lot faster and smoother than a GS3, a phone based on the old A9 Cortex architecture clocked at 1.4GHz.

Maybe a few SW updates will fix it up, maybe we should give Sony sometime, although we all know how this industry is like.
