When you okes wake up and check the cricket score, lemme know what you think of what the SA tail has achieved today... INCREDIBLE!

Duminy and Steyn, we salute you!

Cue Ali G voice: "Respec'!"

I wasn't planning on watching, as I mentioned to JC yesterday, but I'm so glad I did.

Super stuff from the South Africans. They r playing like da ozs back in da days "fight till the end" type of thing. Steyn exceeded my expectations, did better than the top order batsmen. And duminy well simply amazing. 2nd test match and he already has a ton after that match saving half century in perth. Some tough competition. I reckon gibbs wil never come back to the test side.

I wonder how Duminy would do opening with Smith (instead of McKenzie) when Prince is fit to play again.

Hard to believe Duminy is still going at the mo. Phenomenal concentration and self-control.

Wow, 15 people viewing this thread at the moment?!

So Duminy finally falls for 166. What an incredible innings!
459 runs in SA's first innings and a lead of 65...who would've guessed?!

3 overs to go before the close of play. Phew...

WTF!
I cant believe I missed the action.Just woke up and thought I'd peek in here to read the disastrous SA first innings collapse but what do I get.69 run ahead.
WOW!
Didnt expect that.Fantastic.Duminy is grabbing the oppotunity with both hands whereas McKensie went for a duck and dropped Ponting on 20-something,which is criminal when playing against Australia. He went on to make a ton.Drop Mckensie, put Duminy at 3,move Amla to open with Smith and slot Prince back in Duminys position.
Its amazing what happens when your stars like McGrath,Warnie and Gilcrest arent there anymore.Especially those first two. They were destruction incarnate and very intimidating bowlers. The best at what they did.Yes Lee and that other guy are seriously fast but they dont have that discipline that McGrath or even Gillespie had.
Did you hear the one commentator talking about Warne driving one of the Australian players to the game and rocking up in a yellow Lamborghini. The new Indian 20/20 cricket league are making these guys stinking rich.Tony Greig said that one of the Australian batman (cant remember his name) bought his girlfriend two Mini Coopers, both of which she crashed so he bought her a Aston Martin and to top that a engagement ring with a $100000 pricetag.Nice one.(I guess shes feeling like Diddy to Gucci lol)
Incredible how much sportman earn these days.
