@ all, Im so proud of the boys! I thought they were going to be all out for under 250, but they surpassed my expectations. Especially Dale Steyn!
@ ama, or de Villiers could slot in at 3 or in the opening position with Prince coming in at 5 or 6

@ Hobbster:
Yeah Stephen Fry is a legend. I still can't help but conjure images of him as General Melchett in Blackadder Goes Forth when I see his name, which is my fave Blackadder series.
What a team of geniuses they were/are; him, Hugh Laurie and the inimitable Rowan Atkinson. Amazing what each one of them achieved.

@ JC:
Ya that makes sense too. Whatever order of juggling Smith and Arthur have to do for the 3rd test and beyond, they simply cannot afford to leave him out of the test squad with his current run of form. That would be pretty much shooting themselves in the foot, to say the least.
To me it's not just the runs he is scoring, but the incredible mental strength, calmness and concentration that he has demonstrated so far. Amazing stuff.

@ JC:
I've just woken up, LOL. I stayed up until they were 6 wickets down for 170-odd at around 4am UK time, then went to bed. The night before I stayed up until 7am or so (when they finished for the day), and tonight I'm not missing a thing; we're on the brink of history.

We only get the Oz commentators on Sky Sports here. They include Richie Benaud, Tony Greig, Ian Chappell, Mark Taylor and a certain Shane Warne...

Looking forward to their commentary again this evening...
