There is no 12MP RS sensor at this moment. IMX377 is close, but it is a exmor R and it's slated for compact cameras and not mobile for now.
There is nothing wrong with a 12MP sensor, in fact would be better for noise and low light if it was the same size 1/2.3. Although Sony's processing would naturally destroy any benefits from the unit cell size.

I also don't think that Sony will re-use an old Xperia design. If I had to guess I would say that the new Xperia design will be similar to that of the NWZ-ZX2 which kinda resembles the looks of the concept devices from the leaked Sony pictures documents.

Yes i call a bullshit on that p2. There's no way bezels that small could fit in stereo speakers.Nonetheless, I hope sony make something like p2 concept in the future
