OK FOLKS................I spook with
support in Linköping some minutes ago....AND GUESS WHAT !!!!!!!! (for you who maybe didnt know this).
the protection glass on k850i lens, is mineral glass..........(i asked him twice...and he confirmed that is mineral glass)....
[[when i asked him about the protection glass, he look in his computer, and their it was.
(he said; "the glass inside the "circle" is minerall glass")]]
that was realy important for me...i had my doubt about this protection glass before...now im calm

Good news, thanks. Still I will have to make sure it is smudge free before snapping away but I was accustomed to this on my W900i anyway.

he he....i dont care about fingerprints or smudge ...........for me its much MUCH more important that the glass dosent get scratchy..........(smudge you clean off in 3 sek, if you get some).........this is a lovely day

good news about the lens cover.i think the screen glass on my s700 and k800 are some type of glass and are both virtually unmarked after 2 years/1.5 years of use

Just a quick question... having flicked through the pdf user manual for the K850i I noticed that when describing the areas for the softkeys it shows it to be an area of thescreen rather than the small white marking. Is it that the the areas of the screen are actually touchscreen or is it the white markings which are touch sensetive?
