my guess is it hasn't been fully announced yet because the specifics of the SYmbian Foundation OS hasn't been fully completed. Whether it be coding or signing papers.. it's just a matter of time.
The hardware looks great. Sleek design and the big screen is killer. Is it really Bravia quality? I hope the battery life doesn't suffer. It would suck to have such a great phone but only be able to use it 2 hrs a day...
EDIT: I also hope Idou will be available in a single model with support for ALL world GSM/3G networks instead of having an American spinoff...

At the end of the demo tour video for the Idou on the site, it says that this is just the beginning, hinting that more will come later.
