Help! Help! My pc's monitor won't turn on! I checked everything, the power cables and all....its just not turning on! The indicator lights are on...like in standby..is this due to moisture? Help help!

Its not blinking. But the amber colored led is on. It turns green when the monitor turns on.

whizz boot to safe mode and use standard drivers for monitor and display adapter and then try booting.

Blu...how to boot to safe mode? I can't see anything! Btw same thing happened yesterday..but it came back after sometime..i think its something related to the heavy rains. Its been raining here since day before yesterday. Moisture??

sounds like h/w problem
did you check if cables are plugged in tight or could be your display adapter is loosely fixed on the board.

Hmmm..but tell me, can moisture affect monitors? Its very wet here..very humid. Yesterday i got the same problem, but it turned on when i switched it on after few minutes....
