Do you still need the move_driver_to_phone_other_folder patch for your phone? If so, tell me your phone version.
oh mate.. i appreciate your help but it's too late for me cause i did something totally wrong (maybe).. i'd got my phone updated to the latest firmware (R1DB001) yesterday.. what a "nice" move

anyway.. cheers for you guys that have the chance to make life easier with the convinient way of swaping camdriver

thanks again @bbjuju
@Max_Wedge
thanks for the tutorial mate and i guess it's impossible for me to do so.. until someone had a latest R1DB001 patch

oh seems like you have the solution on how to type the ™ with your phone? mind to teach?
I didn't post with my phone, but when you post via computer, I just type bracket, tm, bracket aka:
Code:
(tm)
So maybe try that?
Re R1DB001, congrats on the latest firmware, but did you realise that R1DB001 doesn't have any major enhancements over R1BC?

@daremo:
Thanks mate! It's the only way to evaluate the real quality of camera drivers.
Best regards.

I dont need to ask it, is enough to pay attention to "EXIF" file of the digital photo.
You are an arrogant little bugger aren't you? If you thought before you spoke you wouldn't look so stupid. There is often more than one possible explanation for a set of events.
Point 1: IF you could see the exif info, it wouldn't tell you if the image had been noise filtered or not. EXIF records information from the camera, not from software packages used on the computer.
Point 2: Esato has resized ALL THESE IMAGES!!! Did you even freakin' notice that they all have "Esato Forum Pitcure" on them , and that they are smaller than 2MP? So the images you are looking at aren't straight from the camera; esato has resized the pictures, stripping exif information.
It's not the uploader but just the way Esato does things.
Point3: I can't see any visual evidence of noise filtering, and I've uploaded both filtered and unfiltered images to the picture thread, and I can assure you a filtered image is obvious.

Points 1, 2 and 3: You can see the thread above and note the diference in the exif pictures info. Or the picture post by e_erzan in page 124 (the bikes, only an example) and you can see all. "Exif" file have more information than picture size picture. Who is "arrogant" ? Come on ! ... Anyway ...
Regards.

please guys... stop using picture editing software to post better pictures... it can easily be seen that they have actually been edited by looking at the time and date stamp...
if the time and date stamp looks blury it means its been noise removed...
its a phone after all... not a digital camera with 7 megapixels capability.... so chill....

Hi mates! Could you put the pictures without “noiseware” filter please? Thus the evaluation would be more equitable.

oh not again... i won't fall into this issue

just a word to explain everything..
Picture Resized. Cheers~

I mean to port/convert the patch specific to your phone's firmware (k750 with R1DB APAC?), if you can provide me with the MAIN .raw file as TopSony doesn't have this MAIN file available (probably it's too new)?
I have told e_erzan the same thing. You need to make a copy of MAIN off your phone (please refer to my reply to e_erzan above) and send it to me or upload it somewhere. I will take a look at your MAIN and modify the patch accordingly.
Of course, I am not forcing you to do so

. I am more than happy to help you if you want it. Your pictures you've taken so far are gorgeous.

EXIF information has only information put there by the camera. Noise filtering software either doesn't change the exif info, or removes it altogether. On pictures where you can see the exif information, it's because the pictures have not been resized by esato because the poster has used a thirdparty photo hosting service that doesn't resize. On these pictures there will be no hint in the exif information as to whether noise filtering was used.
On all picture uploaded by esato, there IS NO EXIF information at all. It is stripped out in the resize process This doesn't mean it has been noise filtered (even though noise filtering often does remove exif information)
I called you arrogant because you made an assumption about something about which your lack of knowledge reveals you to be wrong, yet you maintain that you are right. That is arrogance imho.
btw, I'm not judging you, I can be arrogant myself. It's just an observation. When I do something arrogant (make an assumption that's wrong but insist I'm right) and I get called on it, I can't really blame anyone else

Hi bbjuju!
I'm also interested in patches for K750i R1CA021 APAC, and I'm looking for the one who has ability to port all the patches to APAC, so I'm your fan now.
I can't find the topic on instruction how to port patches in SE-NSE forum, so could you guide me on patch porting via my email:
phihung_tran@vnn.vn
It seems you are willing to help people. I love you much.
Thanks in advance.

yes I know this

All sorts of lovely information, recorded at the time the photo was taken. but it doesn't have info about noise filtering by thirdparty programs.
@quickshare(tm) , no that trick doesn't seem to work.

Come on... chill out...
Does anyone know how the "camera driver patch" works? it's a patch that lets you store camdrivers in a folder called "/tpa/user/other/drv", does it let you choose the driver you want to use directly from the cellphone?... here is what i saw in
http://mobilefree.ru/modules/patches/
;W800 SW-R1BC002
;Driver of the camera and display in file "drv" in Other
;Çàìåíà ïàïêè /ifs/settings/camera/ --> /tpa/user/other/drv
;Çàìåíà ïàïêè /ifs/settings/display/ --> /tpa/user/other/drv
;Before application of a patch, create a folder "drv" in a folder Other and put there files of drivers!

regards.
