I just tried to download and instal this hacked version of Opera on my new K800, but both availible version seems to be not working for me.
when I try to run the opera, I just get this message: opera mini 1.21 - application error
anybody know why this is happening?
happened with my k750 as well. Try version 120, works o.k. on k750/v600 and no-kia 6680

the 122 mod is still not v2 based but it looks good. New features include tabbed browsing and some other minor enhancements. I wish i could assign a shortcut to create new window, close window..... but i dont think its possible...

Consider it added, it is nice having multiple windows now. hash then star is a schortcut to the tabs, but not found anything to close single windows.

I can't get this working at all with my k800, it installs fine, but when i go to run it it just says application error (sorry nothing more specific). I've also tried version 1.21, 1.20 and 1.13.
The official version from the opera mini homepage works with one minor bug that i've found so far in that if you google for a site from the homepage when you start opera mini you can't select yes or no for the application to access the internet as the options aren't there so you have to go to a bookmarked page first as the yes/no option shows up fine for that.
Any suggestions?

hi there! V122! Great look'n'functions! Just shocking that, like v121, it seems to work better on, say, no-kia 6680 than on k750/k600 etc (e.g. Shortcuts for forwarads/windows do not work in any constellation on my SE's but on both my work phones, n70 + 6680... Minor points though! Re. Closing indiv.'l windows: u can delete just that page from history, and only that window disappears(like in the fidgety opera 8.6) - works on 6680, haven't tried it on SE though. So, dg-sc more of a s60 fan? Thanks for app.

Hi, back re. Closing individual windows: works on k750 as well! Like this: while browsing hit your history shortcut; highlight the page you have visited that you want to close; click on tools, then delete (NOT clear!). After that the other windows are o.k.! Not a one-click-solution, but if you have configured your shortcuts efficiently, it's quick enough! Very impressed by v122! (btw, who is still using the full opera mobile browser? I have 8.6 on a 6680, and it's so slow compared to 'mini' that even the few extras cannot get me to use it anymore)

@bosshogg
Thanks for that info. Besides this version is quite stable on my phone. Didn't even crash for once:-) . Am still missin the text search function though. . .
@spud_work
Its a shame it doesn't work on latest models like k800. . . Maybe a firmware upgrade could fix this. .

Slightly off topic, I'm getting that same error when I try to use the Remote Desktop app from
http://www.desktopmobiles.com/. It worked fine on my K750i. Is there some change to the Java on the K800i that prevents these apps from running?

One particular window can be closed by:
Press "menu" on the page you want to close.
Then "window"
And finaly choose "close window"

On my S710a i'm getting an "invalid application" error when trying to install v1.22. Every other version has installed flawlessly for me.
