Guys how is the voice quality on gsnl gsm?

My experience: voice echo, voice break, sudden null reception, no proper network coverage. Is this common every where? I heard in rural areas and towns gsnl gives best service. Then y poor setup in big cities n metros? I think private operators are filling their pockets nicely.

surely this proves that thier network service quality is bad!!
but abt 70% of the times speed is ok and same as gtel!!
but i never got avg speed more than gtel's!!
else its speed is less 2 abt avg of 3.5 kBps!!

on edge phones one gets more speed of abt 7 kBps!!!!

BUT one thing i like abt this connection is it doesn't get dissconneted/ blank
if not used for some time like gtel whick annoys me as it even hangs just afte idle time of 1 min!!!(say writing a post)

i hav used the same session even after idle time of 1/2 hour!!!

Well gsnl isn't givin any problem in voice calls within its own network but the max it does is that the phone takes time in connectin to other networks but when it does gets connected then there is no such problem.. Atleast not in uttar pradesh ... Hey anyone else in here from up? This message was posted from a Nokia

Hey folks. Sorry for leaving u in the lurch. Was not able to access internet due to network restrictions at office.

As about accessing internet through mobile, I access it (if at all) only through the cell. I don't have a PC at home. As about the settings, like I've said before, I just went through the menu on the SE site and the SE site directly sends the settings to the phone number which you've specified at the site. After receiving the settings, U get a prompt to install them. And then on, it has been haapy browsing for me Maybe, the SE site itself sends a message to GSNL on your phone for GPRS activation, but from my side, I didn't send any.

And the minimum balance to access net from Mobile is 250 on 'GSNL' as I found out 2 days back when my balance dropped below the limit.

Hey, hey, I never said I got to browse free. I just said that I didn't have to register for the GPRS service. That's all. My prepaid balance gets deducted in full for all my GPRS access.

I'm from Hyderabad/AP

btw ,plz dont mind but
