Not totally removed but significantly reduced (almost inaudible).

No. It's very annoying if you use itunes.

funny thing about my m600 is that i did update it but during the update process the device manager stated that "the device could not be recognized" or something like that. it didnt stop and completed till 100% and after that SEUS said a the phone cudnt be updated and wanted me to do it again. I just pulled out the data cable and switched the phone on. voila new f/w is on , fully updated .

The only thing that i worry about is the alarm since its not working properly as a few other friends stated on this thread, but someothers refused since theirs is working properly?!

Does it sound out loud if you set the alarm or just then when you are choosing which sound to ring for the alarm ?

im thinking bout updating the phone again and doing that buffer trick on flash player may be something will change ill report back!

Just finished the update, and notification about "the device could not be recognized" showd up at the beging of update. But it did not effect the process in any way.

It seems to me that even with Transitions turned on it still runs quick enough, so i dont feel the need to switch it off just yet

I`ve overheard that M600 gets the upcomming FW too. What is it in the box besides more icons on desktop and stability, that all M600 users should be craving for?

those icons are part of the software so SE might put that feature into the next firmware release for the m600
