I agree give the phone time. k610 had to go back due to noisy speaker during calls, k750i had to go back as it kept restarting when receiving picture messages, k800i video was ok, then bad, then just alright, but went back as there was dust under the screen. So there is always problems with SE phones when they first come out, if anything we should be having a go at them about their testing procedure..

I've been sent another K850i and it now has R1CA037 firmware. Will check tonight to see how it performs (at our annual awards, so the flash will be used heavily) and if a very minor update makes a difference.
So far so good.. tried taking photos in the dark (in a drawer) and the flash has fired on time 100% of the time.

Really glad a new firmware is on the cards, as this one is shockingly bad. I still have my K800i, and keep using it from time to time, its so much better to use than the K850i.
Just got a Bluetooth DS980 wireless stereo headset for the phone, seems to work very well indeed, will report on any crashes etc.
Flash on my phone seems to work most of the time, just the odd time it goes funny.
My biggest problem is UI speed, it is soooo slow. Was just streaming music, and syncing more music with Win Media player, and the phone was just unusable. Hopefully with time the firmware will improve. Photo quality seems good, accelerometer feature is extremely pointless and doesn't work very well.
Another thing they should do is disable the soft touch buttons during calls, as I catch mine while on a call.
Other than that, good phone, sound quality is decent too.

Another small bug to report.
When browsing through the menu... i noticed the phone vibrates when selecting an icon... only noticed it ever so slightly with a 4-5 sec pause scrolling between the icons. Now... it seems this is the same feature the W810i had, however unlike the K850i... the W810i actually worked and worked well. Hopefully this will be fixed with the firmware revision.
Has anyone else noticed it?

I noticed this too, when i 1st got the phone i was like "yay, flash meu!" but it didn't seem to vibrate when you went through the icons, which i miss, but as doohan says, holding a navigation key down and rapidly scrolling through the icons, you can just about feel it, i hope this will be an included fix in the firmware update.

Don't know, it's just there...
I've got EU version, unbranded, maybe that's the reason?
