I have to say these look very good on paper, but very bulky and awkward in pics.
It's a little big... but not awkward in person. Just an update, I did get my hands on the SH906i and I will be writing a full review hopefully soon, within the month or so? I'll be posting my first impressions of the device tomorrow.

Well I'm planning to purchase a 923SH hopefully before the end of next month, so I'll try to post a review then.

it's about time to show you these
3.3" OLED fWVGA screen on a 8MP cam slider
and the other one, so called premium walkman phone
response is still a bit slow, as the walkman program is running on the new KCP+ platform... but you'll see, the actual launch date may be pushed back as far as march-april. they've already stripped off a lot of sony stuff, and changed it with.... (you can guess which company's helping)
this pic should clear off a lot of confusion
screen is small, only 3" fwvga
external display? yes, 24x288dots
microSD 2GB bundled
16.3-16.8mm thin
FM transmitter as well
comes with a dock with good enough speakers
SH001- the 8mp ccd flip phone inspired by the sh905i, the keys look more kyocera than sharp. 3.0" fwvga screen
panasonic's p001 is thin, external light effects looks like p-001a for docomo, they came up with a weird name for the design as usual. the keypad is inspired by pantech, built in a way that you can feel the number with your eyes closed
toshiba's boring, don't bother
casio's a rip off of an old 70x sharp design, but the UI is one of the best in AU
hitachi will have a 3.1" 3D display, you'll have to see for yourself, looks great, i think. the design is a bit too boxy though
2 more funny looking phones, one with a strap that hangs on to your fingers, looks like a bar of soap, or an upgraded senior version of Penck; the other is boring
of course, the million dollar question is concerning the softbank sharp phones to be announced on the 29th, but i really think they're not as amazing looking at sony's cybershot here.
all i can say is that 10mp modules are not quite ready yet (esp the video part, with what they are still trying to do.... that's all i can say).
yes there should still be a 8mp ccd cycloid aquos phone for softbank, and another hxvga screen +5MP phone with a more american-esque design.
but the star of softbank's announcement should be NEC's 830N....
this should be legit, unless they decide to change things last minute and show only power-off mock-ups at the announcement.

[blink]...unreal...a dual-hinged clam from SE!???!??!???
And sure, using Kyocera IS odd, are Sony not happy using their own UIs(never heard of that before, except in low-ends)?? But that hardware looks typically lovely(as does the Cybershot/X1 bastardisation)......
Long shot here also, but still...whatever happend to FOMA STICK NEXT?? Those Sharp candybars, sound just like an SE(2.7" WQVA) I heard about months ago...stillborn, or otherwise??
Oo, can't forget: any recent word on Sharp's world sales revival at all??

sharp is making huge profits in mainland China
selling moderately well in Taiwan but not making as much profit as you would imagine
selling not very well in Hong Kong
will not sell too well in Indonesia, but that step is for branding rather than making money

These phones are so awesome. I heard Sharp are meant to be making some sort of comeback in Europe this year. Can anyone know anything about that?
And just to confirm those SE clams above are not for Europe right?
