EMS
Exactly.
Se dude
Are those limited touchscreens or full touch though? As ive said it would be fine if they just made it full and left dpad where it is.

Dunno bout that. But why on earth would you have a full fledged d-pad if you want to provide for a touch screen.

Maybe like they did with the P990i? Maybe not the best example, but I loved that phone before we found about all it's imperfections... I always liked the idea that it functioned like a normal phone and when you wanted to use the touch screen you just opened the flip... Here it would be the other way around.

why on earth? seriously? dont you think its more user-friendly to let people choose the type of input method they prefer to use? stop forcing your opinion under everyone's throat, dont act like this half-arsed touchscreen is a good idea because it simply isnt.

Exactly oddie and ramin, same thing me and many others are saying.

P990, TyTN, TyTN-II, TouchPRO, Touch, TouchDual, XPERIA X1, Omnia (touchpad), the Google Android phones: Dream, Magic, Universe (the Samsung) etc. . .all these give the user a great choice of TS and dpad/touchpad/roller and make it easier and user friendly to use the phone.

You can make video calls with the normal camera.

... which is on the back of the phone ? So that you can't both film yourself and see the person your talking to at the same time. Yet another Sony Ericsson innovation, isn't it. And for your convenience they probably will include a little mirror in the box!

Personally I don't mind this too much, because I think there are many people (me included) who never actually make video calls. Though I think they should have included a front video call camera, like they should start making complete phones for the masses and not segregated products for individuals.

Normally, I would say let's wait and see but this beauty of a phone is crippled that I don't see how it would work without annoying the hell out of the user.

So the phone is crippled? And please tell us how are they supposed to fit a 3" screen on along with d-pad and buttons and keep the phone a decent size?

If they did that then people would either complain about the screen not being large enough to watch the free movies on or that the phone is simply too long!
