The camera on the Z destroys my x10a and craps all over my Cybershot DSCH90. Definately a winner that Sony has here.

Also, any softness you see in these pics could easily be explained by the HDR function. HDR off should produce even sharper images!

Regarding prices, don't convert from euro/pound to $ directly as it's a fact that Europe prices are higher than US ones...

They are talking that first reviews should appear around end of january or beginning of february. Also this clip was taken with Lumia 920.

Yep those camera samples do look very good, let's hope that Sony have made a winner, I think we'll only really know when it hits the stores and we start seeing some real user reviews.
So far it's ticking all the boxes for me though

I'm in Canada too. Why don't you just get the 3G version?

Anyone know if the 3G and 4G will be released at the same time?

Can't the 4G version handle all the 3G bands too? Sorry, this is an area where I don't know too much.

I'm in Toronto, so I assume if I get the 4G version it'll support LTE in the areas of the city that can access it and when I go outside those areas it'll just fall back to 3G... correct?

I am hopeful it will officially come to Canada so I don't have to import it.

My understanding is that the c6602 is supposed to be worldwide 3G and no LTE. So it will work on any 3.5G network in Canada.

The c6603 is only compatible with Canada's newly deployed 2600mhz lte which means Rogers/Fido lte. But anywhere else you go in North America, chances are you won't get any data connection; not even 3G.

I doubt both models will be available for sale in Canada so I'm prepared to buy it online!

Although these are only prototype images it shows hopefully Sony are heading in the right direction with their cameras on the Xperia series; ever since the Arc the post processing has suffered from excessive noise at full crop so these photos are a welcome relief that Sony has listened to complaints.

Only criticisms of those samples are the softness towards the edges and the under exposure (they look a little too dark for my liking - unless the shots were taken in the evening).
