I'm prepared to give up the LED flash anytime for the wafer thin profile. Whilst having a weak flash is better than nothing, it's only one step up from having none at all and I doubt I'll miss it. Plus, I'll look a bit goofy taking pictures in public with such a large slab.

I've never used the LED flash to take pictures... but I do use it as a flashlight quite often.

Yes I will definitely buy the mini Bluetooth handset once it is available. But the Sony stores here say that it would be available only from September, along with the magnetic charging dock.

Strange that they launched the phone the earliest here but making you wait 2 months for essential accessories. I guess everyone who buys the z ultra would end up buying the mini headset

Try to get Sony smart wireless headset instead. Its a great combo as well with XU. Im using it now.

Do like me, sit back and laugh at the excuses rolling in for the lack of it in a top end smartphone/Phablet in 2013/2014 at its price.

True, it's so sweet looking at all the fanboys, who desperately try to find all kind of excuses for Sony's mistakes or try to express the uselessness of something, just because Sony hasn't implanted it...

That's my guess too. It does seem pretty much an essential accessory, just for it's convenience. These early versions on sale now, do these also have LTE radios in?

Or are they just HSPA+

No this is not the LTE version.. I have the HSPA+ Version. Here in India, LTE networks are not yet available, so they do not sell LTE enabled android cell phones yet.
