Some people in China got this phone and played around for a while. It supports "any pen" function.

UI is less usable and aesthetic.
I really feel Sony's attempt is actually better than native, clean Android UI.
Some vanilla Android places are less pleasing, like dialer, contacts etc.
Things like themes are not part of pure Android either (AFAIK).

feels like more an opinion on GP UI rather than the phone itself. For the record i prefer to Sony UI however i wouldn't say that the Sony UI is crap...far from it

Anyway thanks for explaining what you meant

Qualcomm finally disclose what chips are in the Xperia Z2 and Galaxy S5. Xperia Z2 does indeed use the MSM8974AB and the Galaxy S5 uses the MSM8974AC, details here:

Qualcomm: both Galaxy S5 and Xperia Z2 are powered by a Snapdragon 801, but here's the difference

wrong thread tsepz. bring that brag to the galaxy s5 thread.
still can't understand samsung fans. they have their own thread but they really like going other device's discussions to brag.

that issue was already addressed here. just read the older posts.

@Tszep_GP
thanks for the insight ... Not a big difference at the end, we need some Real life usage to see if this 0,2 GHz will make some difference, but I highly doubt:P still both devices has the latest processor out There, that is all I need to know!

@Miromiromi/Vipera
He was not bragging, he just posted an article quoting the pure info... We do not need another discussion (as With bonovox)...
Or this time Hihihans will just erase the thread!!!

What brag? For a number of pages people debated on what chip it was, there was no clarification, we finally get the official info and now you're being defensive to an answer given, WTF dude? Don't know what Samsung fans you're on about as I am open to buying any brand, I'm not a zealot, if I was just a Samsung fan I'd be rocking a Samsung tablet and a whole lot of other Samsung products to. Look if you don't like what Qualcomm has revealed that's fine, don't take it out on me.

Vipera ammodytes

If for YOU it is the better phone then I'm happy for you!

CrownedAkuma

No problem
Atleast this brings to rest all the speculation, everywhere I went I read a diff thing for both the Z2 and S5 chips,at least we now have clarification.

I do wonder why Sony went with the AB rather than the AC, but that's a whole diff discussion for another thread.

Cheers!
