I just had my T68i upgraded to R8A at Sess Herrera. I immediately noticed that its takes longer to access and exit menus compared to my previous version (R2x i think). Has anyone else experience this?

i had mine upgraded 2 r8a in semicon sm southmall last week and i noticed that the resolution and color of the lcd of my t68i improved.and the time in entering and exiting a menu was faster.i'm still luking for other changes that i can find. by the way, i had my fon upgraded coz i did the 13 sec trick (or shuld i say d 10 sec trick!) 7 tyms,before being satisfied with d memory size.after the many resets, my fone slowed down and frequently hangs up.after the upgrade,everything went well.i hope...

@apatmata: there are no new games added when i had my upd8.i was expecting that there wolud b new games, but not to my disapointment.although there are other advantages.i dont know there are new games when you have ur upd8 in smartnet.pls inform me if additional games appear after your upgrade.thanx!

Diablo84, Thanks for the ftp that actually works!
I have no idea what program to use as of now
but I know you need to get a T28 service cable that works on a T68i, not the same thing as data cable. It costs ~$10 USD +$5 shipping for the cheapest one I found on Yahoo Shopping! Just don't get them from Ebay as I heard from plenty of ppl
that complained that the ones they got there doesn't work.

i'm going to buy the T68i within the next month or so. What firmware should i expect to have? will it be the R8A015? if not, should i expect a SE service centre to do this for free (given that it would be newly bought)?
