I use with flip. Tried it without the flip but the virtual keypad sucks. either having to take out the stylus to dial a number or putting fingerprints on the screen. Now I have no choice since I lost the little cover that goes over the bottom when you take the flip off

I used my P800 without the flip after one of the plastic tags snapped off & it interfered with the screen
Use my P900 & P910 with flip on.

Personally, i hate my p910i with the flip. I prefer it naked. It's HoTTer and thinner...

I took the flip off for an airplane trip (figuring the cabin staff would take it for a phone-less PDA). On arrival, I couldn't be bothered to put the thing on again (had more fun things to do) and over a week I got so used to the flipless Pee that I left it off ever since.

The virtual phone keypad is significantly smaller than the hardware one and sometimes it can be somewhat of a hassle to end long calls (I've set my preferences to block the screen after one minute), but all in all I like my Pee a lot more without the flip than I did with.

Good idea for using it on a plane! I got my P910 second hand, it's missing the bezel to put on when you remove the flip

Flip On... I think my phone screen is better protected that way (I don't use any screen protector) and I was looking for a phone+PDA, rathar than PDA+phone.

I think the main reason I got a P910i over a 7710 and other PocketPC PDA's with gsm was it's flip...

Wonderful phone.

Regards.

Well, FWIW it worked. In fairness, this was Thai Airlines, easily the friendliest airline in the world, so it might not work on an Air Overtheristan DC3.

(then again, I can't really see a DC3 getting in trouble from anything less than a direct Stinger hit, so...)
