'alpal', i dont think there IS a "rope"
at least i haven't seen one in the game
there is that jump rope/skipping rope...........whcih just lets you "skip" your turn.....

You should not be able to access the rope! Did you find it after collecting a weapons crate? I was working on a rope but ditched it after trying it on a few levels and not finding it very useful.

I'll give that a go! I never give the AI the first go, so that is maybe why I've never seen it.

I just wanted to say something about the "no next turn" problem. I've also noticed this from time to time. Always immediately after the AI takes the first turn. I think that every time it's happened to me, it has been on the 'Sweets' map. Maybe that'll help you track it down.
Anyway, a workaround is to do an in-game Save, then quit, restart and reload the game. This will usually restore it to the same point and let you take your turn.
One little observation. If you quit mid-game, you still get a screen telling you that you've won. This doesn't seem right. It should give you the option to save before quitting (if you haven't just saved). Otherwise it should either skip the 'winner' screen or you should lose that game.
Will add more comments after a bit of testing.

If you quit the game too early it says 'Game Abandonned' at the top and if you are playing a Campaign you don't get to progress unless you play to the end of a match. (well, nearly the end)
I think a summary screen is still valid even if you did quit very early on.

it played fine the first time i opayed it
but now every time i goto it, it jsut says "Program Soldier Ants Reason code KERN-EXEC Reason Number 3"
it shows the smg startus thigny, but then crashes wiht that error message???

I found that this afternoon. If you skip the intro by tapping the screen it will work ok. I'll upload a new version tonight with it fixed.
It seems that most people (including myself) always skip the screen so noone had noticed the problem until now!
This version has a LOT of changed internally in the game, so I was expecting a bug or two to creep in... but not on the first screen!

I've just put 1.17 up on my website (www.smartmobilegames.com). This version should be loads better than 1.16!
Theres a bunch of bug fixes, left handed people can rotate the screen and the weapons have been tweaked a bit. Oh, and the ants think a bit faster.
