My K750i was working fine over the first 4 days I had it, but now it has started frequently crashing in standby. My K750i is a sim-free and unbranded version. It's really annoying because unless you check your phone every 5 mins to see if it has crashed you'll end up missing calls, and this morning I slept in because my alarm never went off because the phone had crashed overnight at 4am.
I've been on to the place I bought it from and emailed Sony Ericsson aswell. I think I'll have to send it back for a replacement.
One possible explaination I've thought of (It could be just a coincidence), is that the phone was working prefectly with no crashes at home (Ireland), but I'm in Paris at the moment and since I arrived that's when the crashing in standby started for me. This got me thinking that maybe it's got something to do with the network/network infrastructure in certain countries that the phone doesn't like.

I had my K750 for two weeks without any crashes in standby. Yesterday it started to hang... does so now all the time when not using the phone, and there's no change of location as in your case...
It's weird that the phone didn't suffer from this problem for two weeks and then all of the sudden it hangs all the time...

My case is similar to yours in that the phone worked perfectly for about 4 days. I hadn't switched it off since I took it out of the box, then switched the phone off for the first time yestersay on the flight, and after switching it back on afterwards is when the standby crashes started for me. It's pretty worrying as the crashes are getting really frequent now. I've had to take the battery out to reset it about 5 or 6 times in the last 12 hours.

A friend of mine bought a sim free K750i last night from CPW and all during its first charge the phone kept switching off and back on again.... Then this morning he went to check it and the phone was completey off and wouldn't switch back on until he removed the battery. Thats seems a HW rather than a SW fault ?
Now got it replaced and so far no switching off ect , 05w20.

If i watch a video in full screen and want to go back to normal screen or want to minimize, the video stops, and after that i only can watch it form the beginning

I had the same problem as you guys described... twice! It seems to show up when you insert a brand new MemoryStick into the handset. I had the problem on my original stick but later on it had started working. Saving movieclips to the built-in memory was not a problem.
Today I got my new 1Gb stick and had the same problem again. I tried to save the movie to the internal memory first and then copying it to the stick to see if the problem has to do with a unformatted stick. The movie was copied correctly but after this it still didn't want to save new clips to the stick. First after having accessed the movie thru the USB-cable from my PC, the movie recording works fine directly to the stick.

My camera doesnt always open with the lens cover, when it does and i depress the button half way the phone goes back to the menu then back to cam...i can just take picx if i persevere for ages but it takes the pee it really does!! This is on 02....have also had some photos that are grey and save like that too..(a grey tint over the photo)..also i have had none of the other probs..although im not too concerned as i can get it replaced or upgraded it has annoyed me ..any one elses cam not opening with the slider..??

that would suggest a pc/software problem - and considering I have had no problems, I would suggest you:
A) rollback installation
B) fresh install of the software
C) restart your comp
If nothing else works, then maybe you've got something else wrong, ie, a USB fault.

The camera on my 10 day old K750i, bought in Norway, stopped working yesterday. When I open the lens-cover, the camera-meny very briefly appears, with a black screen, and then the phone switches back to the main menu.
