An interesting find:
When pressing '0' in camera mode for an overview of the buttons, a graphical representation of the K800 is shown around the buttons.
It is quite clearly an early design of the K800, note the positioning of the SE text, camera buttons, 3G cam border and noticable difference in height from the grill!

plsssssss help!!!!!!!!! I have problems with sound volume and quality (especially in headphones). It has low volume compared to even the k750i.I'm an ex W800i user and i can tell the difference: the volume is very low. When i plugged in the hpm-70 the sound was low and no bass, it was very low as compared to its putput on when connected to the W800i.I really want to use my k800 as mp3 player not only as a digi cam(thats`why i paid for it ...).Anybody with these problems???
P.S. Excuse my english

@max, btw SE developed the M2 card along with SanDisk so BOTH invested in its development. I'm sure that SanDisk makes the cards exclusively while SE can have a small batch branded with SE logo. If Sandisk can make memory off of SOOO many formats I'm sure SE can. Remember this WHOLE Memory Stick format began with SOny putting it in their laptops, MiniDV camcorders, etc! Either way the card will grow in size to 2GB then when announced - not shipping - we'll hear of the first Walkman phone line carrying the M2 Moniker.
BTW, to ALL K800/K790 users!

my buttons are holding up just fine and my joystick is still pretty firm after a month of use.

I presume you actually mean Sony and not SE as the M2 is a Sony product and not a Sony Ericsson product.
